Description
William Ozanne leaves the British Navy to start a new life in New Zealand. His family home is in the Channel Islands and next door live two sisters who are both in love with William. Marianne is clever and plain. Marguerite is
beautiful and the one William loves. After becoming established William decides to write to Marguerite asking her journey to New Zealand, and to marry him. Unfortunately he makes the mistake he had so often made and addresses the letter to Marianne instead of Marguerite – Marianne is overjoyed and leaves immediately.
