Tumbling Waters

Helen Corby lives with her father Jim and his mother on their farm, Tumbling Waters. Helen assumes she will marry Dave Grim, the son of Peter Grimm, the neighbouring farmer.
One stormy night, though, Jim picks up out-of-work Vic Tanner walking along the road and takes him home for a few days while he gets back on his feet.
When Vic fixes Jim’s tractor, Jim decides to give him a job on his farm. For Helen, her future seems much less assured.
