Description
She already has a grown-up family by her lateDanish husband and spend part of her time with them in Copenhagen. Both her children and his mother are against the marriage, as are his exfianceeand a family friend who is also in love with Isobel. Once Isobel and Russ are married, each of these people contrive (in their own ways) to destroy the relationship, with varying degrees of success. When tragedy strikes, the truth comes out, and it seems there may be happiness for Russ after all.
