She commenced GRACE GIBSON RADIO PRODUCTIONS in 1944 and it was the only production company to continue recording radio drama after the advent of Television through to the 1990’s.
Radio Dramas and Serials provided great entertainment for households throughout Australia. This classic collection provides samples of the “half hour” format and features writers and actors such as Peter Yeldham and Peter Finch. Grace Gibson was awarded the Order of Australia in 1987. She passed away quietly in 1988 at her Sydney home. This collection was selected by Reg James who has been associated with Grace Gibson Productions since 1946.
