Description
In the years when the clanking armour of the Roman Soldiers was heard everywhere, a polyglot of warring peoples heard the voice of Jesus. Simon who became known as Peter, the most lovable and human of the Disciples, laid down his fishing nets by the Sea of Galilee to become a Fisher of Men. He followed Jesus to Gethsemane, only to deny him. Later he became the greatest of the first leaders and teachers of Christianity. Like his Master, he died on the Cross.
