We regularly attend the live performances by the Blue Mountains Radio Players. On the last Sunday of the month this group performs two plays at the Mountain Heritage Hotel in Katoomba.
The plays vary from American scripts of days gone by to recently written local scripts – such as Colin Semmler’s plays commemorating the Bicentenary of the Crossings of the Blue Mountains. His most recent work ever so slightly sends up the road building efforts in 1814, with the odd oblique reference to current slow efforts in widening ‘the track’!
