John J. Malone is a casual, breezy sort of guy who never looks for trouble; he doesn’t have to – it falls right into his lap.

He’s the despair of his old friend, Lieutenant Brooks of Homicide, even when he’s helping the lieutenant solve some of his toughest cases.

Between them they provide fast moving stories, often with a sense of humour, thanks to the imaginative writing.

Adapted from US scripts for an Australian audience, this series stars John Saul as Mr Malone and Harp McGuire as Lieutenant Brooks.
