Our Cattleman poster is a wonderfully gritty image of the hard-bitten, gentle-loving, cattle-duffing Ben McReady – portrayed here by actor Frank Waters.

Poster size – 455mm x 325mm

The Cattleman radio series was adapted from the novel by R.S. Porteous.

Ben McReady was considered (by many) to be the quintessential Australian in terms of his generosity, his contempt for authority and affectation, his war service and his love of the outback. Even his cattle duffing seems to be more of an endearing failing than a serious crime.
