She commenced GRACE GIBSON RADIO PRODUCTIONS in 1944 and it was the only production company to continue recording radio drama after the advent
of Television through to the 1990’s. Crime and Mystery programmes have always hugely been popular with Australian audiences and Grace Gibson used her connections in the USA to buy the best scripts which she then had adapted locally to suit listener tastes. Grace Gibson was awarded the Order of Australia in 1987. She passed away quietly in
1988 at her Sydney home. This collection was inspired by Reg James who was associated with Grace Gibson Productions from 1946 until his passing in 2015
